Children and adults thrive in nature when exhilarated with fresh air, listening to the sound of silence, creating shelters under the trees, and playing in the dirt. Children gain confidence as they attune with nature and connect with the earth.
The importance of nature
The forest has been clinically proven to have a positive effect on our overall health and well-being, improving the , lowering blood pressure, and creating an overall 鈥渞e-set鈥 to the mind, body, and soul. Slow down and enjoy the present moment and bask in the beauty of the forest.
In conjunction with Montessori Education, we are implementing a nature-based classroom program based upon the . Students participate in environmentally centered activities, stories, songs, and games that engage
body, mind, and spirit. Our nature classes will be held outside. For an outdoor classroom there is no bad weather, only bad clothing.
